Gtbit Finishing School (GFS), established in September 2017, is the professional -development and soft skill building society of the college. The aim of its establishment was to help students inculcate the basic and vital qualities of a leader, a team-member, and a strong individual. GTBIT finishing school is an endeavour through which we teach our students the finer aspects of etiquette and soft skills over and above their academic engagement. Personal and professional development is an ongoing act of assessing our life goals and values and building our skills and qualities to reach our full potential. GFS helps providing every student an opportunity to improve their confidence and communication skills necessary to face the professional world and so when an important occasions arises, they will have the gift, style, sharpness, clarity and emotions to affect other people. GFS also has an active and engaging social media presence. Under our Convenor, Dr. Seema Singh’s able and dynamic leadership and guidance, the society has made rapid progress. Her constant support and mentorship over the years has provided a huge impetus to the fortunes of this society.
GFS's goal is to improve and enhance the confidence, communication, public speaking skills and all the other vital aspects of a student's personality through a series of informative events organized round the year. The events we organize help you to reinvent yourself and be more confident. We offer various activities and events to enhance key soft skills and abilities of the students. Students are imparted talks, workshops and training to broaden their communication abilities, presentation competencies and group discussion abilities which play an important role in the job selection process in a standard manner. We help in motivating our students as well as in helping them develop the right kind of attitude and create a good and lasting impression on others. We believe that If you are moving forward in your life, If you are progressing personally, professionally emotionally, spiritually – you will be happy.
