GTBIT Students and Faculty attended International
Conference on “Transforming Higher Education and Skilling towards Viksit
Bharat” at Vigyan Bhawan
On 19th September 2025, a group of enthusiastic students from Guru Tegh Bahadur Institute of Technology (GTBIT) had the privilege of attending the International Conference on Transforming Higher Education and Skilling towards Viksit Bharat, held at the prestigious Vigyan Bhawan New Delhi.
The conference brought together eminent academicians, policymakers, industry leaders, and international experts to deliberate on the future of higher education, skill development, and the role of innovation in building a Viksit Bharat. Sessions focused on emerging technologies, skill integration, research-driven learning, and global collaborations for preparing youth to meet 21st-century challenges.
The students of GTBIT gained valuable insights into how education systems worldwide are evolving to integrate artificial intelligence, digital tools, and interdisciplinary approaches. They also witnessed thought-provoking discussions on bridging the gap between academia and industry, ensuring equitable access to quality education, and empowering youth as drivers of national development.
This exposure proved to be a highly enriching experience for the students,
motivating them to align their academic pursuits with national priorities and
contribute effectively towards India’s journey of becoming a knowledge-driven
global leader. The participation of GTBIT students in such a prestigious
international conference reflects the institution’s commitment to providing its
learners with opportunities that extend beyond classrooms, fostering holistic
development and global perspectives. The event was coordinated by Dr. Gurmeet
Singh and Dr. Mahender Singh.
