ATAL FDP Day1 Highlights

The ATAL Faculty Development Program at Guru Tegh Bahadur Institute of Technology kicked off with the theme “Solving Real World Problems with High Performance and Intelligent Computing.”

We were honoured to have Prof. M. Afshar Alam, Vice Chanceller, Jamia Hamdard as the Chief Guest for the inaugural session. A distinguished academician and visionary leader in computer science, Prof. Alam’s contributions computer science and emerging technologies set the tone for an inspiring start for FDP. His insights and guidance inspired all participants to strive for innovation and excellence in the field.

• A leading researcher and academician, Prof. Panigrahi is renowned for his pioneering work in advanced computing and intelligent systems. His session provided valuable perspectives on the latest advancements in the field, emphasizing the importance of high-performance computing in solving real-world problems.
• Dr. Bhawna Narwal
  Speaker from IGDTUW
  An accomplished academician and researcher in intelligent computing, Dr. Narwal shared her expertise on the role of emerging technologies in modern-day problem-solving. Her work in the field has contributed significantly to the growth of intelligent systems, and her session offered actionable insights for integrating these technologies into academic research.

With over 180 participants from across India, including prestigious institutions such as DTU, NIT Delhi, GGSIPU, Manipal University, BTU and JECRC, the event fostered cross-institutional collaboration. We also welcomed renowned academicians and scientists as Speakers from leading institutions like IIT, AIIMS, IIIT, GGSIPU, NIELIT and industry experts from GoDaddy, Accenture, Atlassian, and international speakers from the University of Texas and Western Kentucky University, USA.
