SMART INDIA HACKATHON 2025 – Internal Hackathon at GTBIT
Smart India Hackathon (SIH) is India’s largest innovation festival, providing a nationwide platform for students to solve some of the most pressing real-life problems. Over the years, 13,91,884+ students from various engineering colleges have participated, working on challenges posed by Central & State Governments, Industries, and other organizations .
In SIH 2025 , students will have the opportunity to:
Solve real-world problem statements from Central Ministries, State Governments, and Industry.
Work on Software (186) and Hardware (68) challenges .
Create world-class solutions for top companies and showcase innovation on a national platform.
Help industries hire the best minds while contributing to nation-building.
Internal Hackathon at Guru Tegh Bahadur Institute of Technology (GTBIT) will be conducted in the second week of September 2025 to shortlist teams for SIH 2025 .
Guidelines for Internal Hackathon :
Last date to submit entries: 7th September 2025 (Sunday)
Team size: 6 members (including 1 Team Leader)
Mandatory: At least 1 female team member (all-female teams allowed)
Submission: Only 1 idea solution per team during Internal Hackathon
Selection Process: Shortlisted teams will proceed to submit their ideas for SIH 2025 national level
