AI-Thon 1.0: A Trailblazing Success at GTBIT
Founder Factory GTBIT proudly hosted AI-Thon 1.0, Delhi NCR’s biggest AI hackathon, on May 3-4, 2025, at Guru Tegh Bahadur Institute of Technology. The 24-hour event drew over 500 registrations, with 150+ offline participants and 100+ staying for Nightstay, uniting brilliant minds from Ghaziabad, Noida, Punjab, Haryana, and beyond.




The inauguration, graced by Director Dr. Rominder Kaur Randhawa and mentors Dr. P.S. Bedi, Dr. R.P. Singh and Dr. Gurmeet Singh, set an inspiring tone, sparking a transformative journey of innovation and collaboration that left a lasting impact.




The hackathon floor buzzed with creativity as teams showcased groundbreaking AI-driven projects, integrating Machine Learning, Blockchain, and MCP Servers. From LLM-integrated apps for smart document summarization to scalable computer vision solutions, participants impressed a stellar judging panel, including Aman Varshney (AI Engineer, SAP Germany), Hari Krishna Doradla (SDE 2, Amazon), and Kamal Nayan and Mehak (SDEs, Maxtron).




Key highlights include:
- PAN India Participation: Teams traveled from across India, with some marking their first hackathon and others their 50th.
- Innovative Projects: Solutions ranged from legal tech to code generation, showcasing AI’s real-world potential.
- Seamless Execution: A dedicated 14-member Founder Factory team ensured a flawless experience.
