The National Service Scheme (NSS) of Guru Tegh Bahadur Institute of Technology (GTBIT) organised a Plantation Drive to promote environmental awareness and encourage students to contribute towards a greener and healthier environment. The initiative highlighted the importance of trees in maintaining ecological balance, conserving biodiversity, and improving environmental sustainability.
Under the guidance of
Programme Officer ANO Lt. Gurveen Singh Grover, the drive emphasised
the responsibility of every individual in protecting nature and preserving
natural resources. Through this initiative, NSS GTBIT encouraged
environmental consciousness and collective efforts towards building a cleaner,
greener, and more sustainable future.
