The National Service Scheme (NSS) of Guru Tegh Bahadur Institute of Technology (GTBIT) observed World Literacy Day to highlight the importance of education and literacy in building an informed and empowered society. The initiative aimed to spread awareness about the value of education, equal learning opportunities, and the role of literacy in social development.
Under the guidance of Programme Officer Mr. Gurveen Singh Grover, the initiative emphasised the importance of youth participation in promoting education and creating a more inclusive society. It reflected the NSS motto, “Not Me But You,” by encouraging students to contribute towards a more educated and progressive nation.
