Technology (IT) and Department of Computer Science & Engineering
(Data Science), in collaboration with IIC, GTBIT, successfully
organized an Expert Session on Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) on 15th
September 2026.

The session focused on Patents, Copyrights, Trademarks, Patentability, Prior-Art Search, Trade Secrets, Software IPR, and commercialization of innovations, with special emphasis on transforming B.Tech projects into intellectual property.
