Educational Visit to Bharat Electricity Summit 2026
An educational visit to the Bharat Electricity Summit 2026 was organized by the Guru Tegh Bahadur Institute of Technology, Delhi, on 19 March 2026 at Yashobhoomi Convention Centre, Dwarka, New Delhi, in which 28 ECE students participated under the guidance of Dr. Gurmeet Singh and Dr. Mahender Singh. The purpose of the visit was to provide students with industrial exposure and knowledge about recent advancements in the power and energy sector, smart grid technologies, renewable energy systems, power electronics, and industrial automation. During the summit, students visited various technical exhibitions, interacted with industry experts, and observed modern technologies related to smart metering, energy management, EV charging infrastructure, and sustainable power solutions. The visit helped students to connect theoretical concepts with real-world applications, enhanced their understanding of emerging industry trends, and created awareness about career opportunities in the electrical and electronics domains. Overall, the visit proved highly informative and beneficial in enhancing technical knowledge, professional awareness, and outcome-based learning, and such activities play a significant role in bridging the gap between academic learning and industry requirements.
