Expert lecture on “Advanced Polarization Conversion
Strategies in Microwave and mmWave Technologies: Applications and Perspectives”
Guru Tegh Bahadur Institute of Technology organized an expert lecture on “Advanced Polarization Conversion Strategies in Microwave and mmWave Technologies: Applications and Perspectives” on 23rd February 2026.
The session
was delivered by Dr. Ashish Gupta, Associate Professor, Department of
Electronics and Communication Engineering, Jaypee Institute of Information
Technology. Approximately 80 students
from the ECE department attended the session and gained valuable insights into
advanced polarization conversion techniques, metasurface-based designs, and
their applications in microwave and millimeter-wave technologies, particularly
in 5G/6G communication systems, satellite communication, and radar
applications. The expert also discussed current research trends, practical challenges,
and future opportunities in high-frequency technologies. The session was highly
interactive, enhancing students’ conceptual understanding and motivating them
toward research and innovation in microwave and antenna engineering.
