Summit 2026 at Bharat Mandapam
The students of the Electronics and
communication Engineering Department participated in the prestigious AI impact Summit
2026 held at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, on 17th February 2026. The
summit served as a premier platform that brought together academicians,
industry experts, policymakers, startup founders, and technology enthusiasts to
deliberate on the rapid advancements and transformative impact of Artificial
Intelligence across various sectors.

The event provided an excellent
opportunity for students to gain first-hand exposure to cutting-edge AI
innovations and real-world applications. The primary objective of student
participation was to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry
practices. Artificial Intelligence is rapidly reshaping industries such as
healthcare, communication systems, manufacturing, finance, transportation, and
smart city infrastructure. By attending the summit, students were able to understand
how theoretical concepts in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Data Analytics,
and Neural Networks are implemented in practical scenarios. The summit
emphasized interdisciplinary applications of AI, encouraging students to think
beyond conventional engineering boundaries. The event featured keynote
addresses by eminent AI researchers and industry leaders who highlighted
emerging trends such as Generative AI, Edge AI, Explainable AI, AI Ethics, and
Sustainable AI solutions. Technical sessions focused on AI integration in IoT
systems, robotics automation, cybersecurity frameworks, and intelligent
healthcare monitoring. Panel discussions were conducted on the challenges of
data privacy, ethical governance, and responsible AI deployment in society. These
discussions provided students with a holistic understanding of both
technological advancements and societal implications. An exhibition area
showcased innovative AI-based products, prototypes, and startup solutions.
Students interacted with industry representatives and explored demonstrations
related to predictive analytics, smart surveillance systems, AI-enabled
communication technologies, and autonomous systems. Such interactions enhanced
their understanding of market trends and potential career opportunities in
AI-driven industries. Networking with professionals also motivated students to
consider internships, research collaborations, and entrepreneurial ventures. A
total of 47 students from the ECE Department participated under faculty
supervision. The students actively engaged in question-and-answer sessions,
technical discussions, and knowledge-sharing forums. The exposure not only
strengthened their technical competence but also improved their communication
skills and professional confidence. Many students expressed keen interest in
undertaking AI-based final-year projects and research initiatives inspired by
the summit discussions. The participation in the AI Summit proved to be highly
beneficial in terms of academic enrichment and industry orientation. It
reinforced the importance of continuous learning and innovation in the field of
Artificial Intelligence. The event broadened students’ perspectives regarding
the future scope of AI technologies and their potential to address real-world
challenges. The event was an enriching and inspiring experience for the
students. The knowledge gained, professional interactions established, and
exposure to advanced AI technologies will significantly contribute to their
academic growth and career readiness. The department looks forward to
encouraging greater participation in such national and international technical
forums in the future
