A technical session on “AI-Based Approaches to GPS Positioning Accuracy” was conducted on 2nd February 2026 by Prof. Sawarn Singh Jaggi as part of the “AI for Atmanirbhar Bharat: HEI Pre-Summit Engagements” initiative by the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell (MIC), AICTE, under the India AI Impact Summit 2026. The session provided valuable insights into how Artificial Intelligence techniques can be leveraged to enhance the accuracy, reliability, and robustness of GPS positioning systems.


The talk also touched upon real-world applications of AI-enhanced GPS systems in navigation, smart transportation, and location-based services.
