The NSS unit of GTBIT organized a Cervical Cancer Awareness and Basic Life Support (BLS) Training Program on 28th January 2026 to promote health awareness and emergency preparedness among students.
The first session on Cervical Cancer was delivered by Dr. Khushboo Rastogi, Consultant in Radiation Oncology at BLK Max Super Specialty Hospital, Delhi. She explained the causes, prevention, early detection, and importance of awareness in a clear and informative manner.
The second session on Basic Life Support (BLS) was conducted by Ms. Priyanka, Clinical Instructor from BLK Max Super Specialty Hospital. She demonstrated essential life-saving techniques such as CPR and emergency response methods. Special thanks to Mr. Dhan Singh Negi, for his valuable support and coordination in making the event possible.
The event concluded with closing address by ANO Lt. Gurveen Singh Grover, NSS PO who appreciated the speakers and participants. The program was highly informative and beneficial for all the participants.
